PLAGIARISM POLICY

Introduction
EduTechy International Journal of Science, Art and Humanities (EIJSAH) is fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency in academic publishing. To preserve the originality of scholarly work, the journal follows a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and unethical publication practices. Plagiarism, in any form — including the copying of text, ideas, images, tables, data, or results from previously published works without proper acknowledgment — is considered a serious violation of research ethics.

Plagiarism Detection Process
All manuscripts submitted to EduTechy International Journal of Science, Art and Humanities (EIJSAH) are thoroughly screened for plagiarism using trusted similarity detection software prior to the peer review process. The similarity report is carefully examined by the editorial team.

  • A manuscript showing more than 10–15% similarity (excluding references and commonly used terms) will be returned to the author for revision or may be rejected immediately.
  • In cases of minor overlap, authors will be asked to revise and properly cite the original sources before the review process continues.

Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must ensure that their submissions are entirely original and properly referenced. Any material or data derived from other works must be acknowledged with appropriate citations. Self-plagiarism — reusing one’s own previously published content without proper citation — is strictly prohibited. Authors are encouraged to use plagiarism detection tools before submission to verify originality.

Handling of Plagiarism Cases
If plagiarism or unethical practices are detected before or after publication, the Editor-in-Chief will review the case in consultation with the editorial board. Depending on the severity, one or more of the following actions may be taken:

  • Rejection of the submitted manuscript.
  • Retraction of the published article with a public notice on the journal website.
  • Notification to the author’s affiliated institution, employer, or funding agency.
  • Restriction on future submissions to the journal.

Ethical Guidelines
EduTechy International Journal of Science, Art and Humanities (EIJSAH) strictly follows the ethical standards and procedures recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for addressing plagiarism and research misconduct. The journal expects authors, editors, and reviewers to uphold these principles to maintain academic integrity and trust in the publication process.
